IS RADON IN DRINKING WATER A HEALTH CONCERN?

Around 2 percent of radon in the air can come from drinking water. We know there can be radon in your drinking water, and David Cook's Radon Services provides radon water testing as a service.

Drinking water containing radon can present a risk of developing internal organ cancers, though the risk is smaller than developing cancer from breathing radon released into the air via tap water.

IS RADON IN MY DRINKING WATER?

Your water may not contain radon. Private wells that pump water from an aquifer are at higher risk for containing radon; however, not all underground water sources contain radon.

A system can cost as little as $1200 and rarely exceeds $2,000. It all depends on the soil beneath the house and the layout of the home.
